Peanut Butter & Co. Review and 3-jar Giveaway!

Who doesn’t love peanut butter?! (My most sincere regards for those with allergies… life is so unfair!) Peanut Butter & Co. has offered a variety of different flavors and attitudes of the nutty spread for years now and sadly, at times, I forget the brilliance of their products.
At this year’s Vida Vegan Con, PB & Co. had a huge presence, offering all sorts of snacks throughout the conference which featured their signature flavors.
As a wonderful offer to the bloggers present, PB & Co. offered to send 3 flavors for review and a giveaway to readers. I selected The Heat Is On, White Chocolate Wonderful, and Cinnamon Raisin Swirl.

Have you ever checked out the rest of their flavors? While not all of them are vegan, the majority of them are, and each lend a unique take on sweet and savory!

With the Cinnamon Raisin Swirl variety, I added about 1/3 cup of the spread to Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Pancake Mix. This was completely on a whim, but a fantastic move! Very much recommended.

The White Chocolate Wonderful flavor went directly onto bananas, mostly, and into a cookbook tester no-bake cookie recipe. Oh, yum. So sweet and creamy.

Feeling slightly nervous, yet oh-so-intrigued about The Heat Is On variety, I decided this would likely shine in a savory, spicy peanut sauce dish. My Spicy PDX Bowl of Goodness was perfect! For the sauce, I mixed about 1/3 cup of the PB with water and a small amount of Vegenaise until it reached a creamy, smooth consistency. It turned out wonderfully, and lemme tell ya… this stuff is HOT! Flavorful and spicy at the same time, it packed a much bigger punch than I had thought! Can’t wait to try this in more dishes.
Now, YOU (yes, you!) have a chance to win all three of these flavors from Peanut Butter & Co. Here’s how to enter:

  1. I would definitely use The Heat Is On to make Peanut Noodles, or as my great-nephew calls them P'Noodles!

  3. I think White Chocolate Wonderful is the best peanut butter ever! If I could keep from eating the whole jar before I had a chance to bake some goodies with it, I would probably make PB cereal bars. Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. I have been wanting to try The PB co for such a long time now! I have big plans for all three flavors. Lets start out with The heat is On, there's a couple things I'd like to try with this one including the ever so popular peanut sauce for a Thai sort of meal. This would also be awesome on chicken wings instead if the regular ol' hot sauce. Then I really want to try it in a soup that I have recently been experimenting with! It's a spicy soup that needs that something extra and I actually think peanut butter could be the shining answer. The possibilities are endless when it comes to White Chocolate Wonderful . That will be going on everything from oatmeal to cookies and I'm most exciting about playing around with it in just about ever baking dish. Definitely putting this in my peanut butter protein bar recipe. White Chocolate peanut butter muffin melts?! Yes please! Now the cinnamon swirl is most up my alley, so this will probably be the one out of the three that stays out if most baking dishes and just stays on my spoon! But I would love to try cinnamon swirl pancakes along with some buns for this sweet treat! I would love to be able to try all of these out, I can't wait! (:

  6. Easy: the white chocolate wonderful I would use for cookies, slattered on bread and spoonfuls of it would go directly into my mouth; the cinnamon raisin would end up like the white chocolate one and the spicy peanut butter would be used sensibly for making healty veggie, tofu and grain/rice bowls (or to top pasta, pizza …).

  7. Although each flavor of PB sounds delightful, I think I'd be most willing to indulge in the cinnamon raisin swirl! If I wasn't eating it with my favorite pairings (bananas and celery), I think it would be delicious mixed up in a pancake batter — possibly with oats or quinoa! This could make for delicious breakfast muffins as well!
